The Champion Charger Athletic Booster Club (CABC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports the Champion High School Athletic Department. Champion High School sports programs operate on limited budgets and require additional funding from parents and the community. The board currently consist of six members who report to Stan Leech, the BISD athletic director. CABC is responsible for approving requests submitted by the coaches as to their needs for each of their teams. The contributions CABC receives in a given year are derived from booster club memberships, corporate sponsorships and fundraisers throughout the year.   In a given year, CABC provides approximately $150,000 of funding towards Champion High School sports programs. The expenses include but are not limited to equipment, training, uniforms, software platforms, meals and transportation not provided by the state or district.
